A woman without her man, is nothing!
A woman, without her, man is nothing!
Night
Heart pounds,
deafening those who hear
the terrifying sounds
of a dark night.
.
Eyes widen
when a creature
sees what it cannot
believe.
.
The night can be a scary
idea in the head of a child,
growing evermore.
.
So open your mind,
let the wonders of night
not corrupt your mind,
but brush the doors of
imagination open.
.
Counterbalance this commotion,
we’re not droplets in the ocean.
We’re the ocean, ocean, ocean.

I LOVE THIS!!!!!!
Lyrics 1. I wrote these on the plane home from Europe
The beauty of your smile
flows straight to my soul.
I can’t stand being
near, or away.
My love for you carries me away.
Down the Nile,
I flow,
toward your heart.
Your eyes glitter
and gleam,
even when it’s dark.
Come to me and
you will see,
my eyes do the
same for you.
My love for you
lifts me higher
than the largest
spire in the galaxy.
Oh, how we love.
Lyricist
One of my talented choir friends wants to start writing songs with words to it. Jacob was looking for someone to write them, so here I am :)
I am Jacob’s lyricist. I will post some of what I write for him on this blog sometime or another….
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
– John F. KennedyNelly Poem
I promised awhile ago that I would post my persona poem about Nelly. Just found it in my computer, so here it is. Sorry for the wait!!!
<br/>
I grew in St. Louis, the bad part o’ town.
Kicked out of too many schools to count.
Parents couldn’t afford me and my kids,
I dealt drugs to pay bills all ‘round.
Turn ‘round the ‘tude and face the facts
I need structure in my life, that’s the tact.
Play baseball, join a band;
heads start turnin’ to stare.
They’ve singled me out!
The St. Lunatics push me to go on,
my heart pounds precisely with the beat,
as I enter the shiny, steel studio.
Country Grammar has begun.
My eyes open up to the troubles I’ve seen,
need to help others through what I’ve been.
4Sho4Kids has risen,
helping all through St. Louis.
I won’t stop now, can’t hold back.
Rap is my deal, that’s a fact.
If you want more to see,
look in the book about me,
Nelly.
To help write this poem, I used Hooper, James. Nelly. Mason Crest Inc. 2007.
Thank you!
My latest obsession is the iPod Touch app called Instagram. It is basically a social photography station where people world-wide can get together and share their passion of photo taking. Off to the side under the Currently Reading, there are links with stars next to them. The one labeled INSTAGRAM will take you to a computer based viewing site for these photos. When your mouse hovers over the picture, you can see the comment I wrote for it. People who have liked my photo in the app will be shown as a heart for each picture <3
After the heart is a bubble which shows comments. After all of this, is says a label: normal, lomo-fi, earlybird, etc. These are filters used to enhance to photo. Most of my photos uploaded are normal, or non-filtered.
I’m sorry I dont update this website too often, so this is another way for me to connect with you. If you do have Instagram on your iPod, you can follow me at @xtremenini
I love this song so much! I had a few hours on my hands Friday night. I learned the bass clef of piano so I could play this song. (well, I am still not that good, but only time will show my potential!) So far, I have gotten to the end of the first fifteen measures. I hope to learn more! :)
